To submit your entry during the competition period you must:
- Buy a specially marked case of Great Northern (bottles or cans) from any Cellarbrations, IGA Liquor or The Bottle-O store, or Porters Liquor, Ritchies (VIC & NSW), Thirsty Camel (NSW, ACT, QLD, SA & NT) & Big Bargain (TAS)
- Visit matchamarlin.com.au, follow the prompts to the Promotion entry page; and fully complete and submit the online entry form with the unique code found inside the carton.
- Watch the Match a Marlin animation as prompted to see if you've won an instant win prize.
The unique code can be found inside your specially marked Great Northern 24-pack (bottles) or a 30-pack (cans). For 30-pack cans, the code will be printed on the divider inside your case. To find the code you will need to remove the bottles or cans from the case. The code will be 10 characters long and consist of numbers.
There is 1 major prize to be won and up to 1,000 instant win prizes. MAJOR PRIZE A trip to Hamilton Island, QLD for the winner and 3 friends. The trip includes flights, 5 nights accomodation at the Reef View Hotel, a 3 day (2 night) Topnotch Game Fishing experience & $2,000 spending money. INSTANT PRIZE A $50 Great Northern Digital Prepaid Mastercard®.
You'll need to watch the animated video to see if you've won an instant prize. If a pair of white Original Marlins are pulled out of the cooler you've won an instant prize. If it is a mismatched pair of Marlins there is no win. You'll be notified on screen instantly if you've won. Once your entry has been validated (within 5 business days) you will receive a confirmation email containing a link to your $50 Great Northern Digital Prepaid Mastercard®. If your entry is deemed invalid, we will also email you to let you know why it was not valid.
The major prize will be drawn at 12pm AEST 05/02/26. The major winner will be contacted via email and phone within 7 days of the draw.
Any Cellarbrations, IGA Liquor or The Bottle-O, Porters Liquor, Ritchies (VIC & NSW), Thirsty Camel (NSW, ACT, QLD, SA & NT) & Big Bargain (TAS) store in Australia stocking specially marked Great Northern cases (including online).
The major prize must be claimed by 12:00 pm AEDT 05/03/26. Instant win prizes (Great Northern Digital Prepaid Mastercard®) must be activated within 6 months of issue and will be valid for 12 months after activation. At expiry of the card, any unused balance will be forfeited.
There is a limit of 1 claim per person, per qualifying transaction per day.
